Heuricity is a chat application that sends your messages to AI models, including models we provide and models or accounts you connect yourself. AI output can be wrong, and important information should be verified. The models are made by third parties; their behavior is theirs, our harness is ours.

You need to be at least 18, or the age of digital consent where you live. Keep your sign-in method secure; what happens under your account is your responsibility. One person per account.

Paid plans include usage measured in cost over rolling windows, as described on the pricing page. When a window is reached, the app says so and offers real options; we do not silently degrade your service. New accounts may include a free period, such as one month of Pro, which requires no payment method. Paid subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled; cancelling takes effect at the end of the billing period. Top-ups are one-off purchases and are not refunded once used. Prices may change with notice before your next renewal.

Do not use Heuricity to break the law, to harm people, or to attempt to break the service or other people's accounts. Use of the underlying models must also respect the providers' own usage policies, which apply to their models through us. We can suspend accounts that abuse the service, and we will say why.

Your conversations and files are yours. We host them to run the service and we do not sell them or share them beyond the processing described in the privacy page. Deleting a conversation or your account really deletes it.

Heuricity picks which model answers each message. To make that choice better, we keep records about each routing decision: things like message length, the kind of task, which model we picked, what it cost, and whether you regenerated or switched models afterwards. We use these records to tune our routing system. We do not use the text of your conversations to train any AI model, and we do not build language models from your content. Routing records are linked to your account, are deleted when your account is deleted, and are never sold or shared. If we ever want to use your data in any other way, we will ask you first.

Connections you add, such as API keys, provider accounts, or models running on your own hardware, remain yours and are governed by your agreements with those providers. We store connection keys encrypted and use them only to run your requests. Usage on your connections is never counted against your plan, and it is billed to you by your provider, not by us.

Heuricity is a young product run by a small team. We work hard to keep it up and your data safe, and we take backups, but we cannot promise uninterrupted service, and we are not liable for losses beyond what you paid us in the last twelve months, to the extent the law allows.

You can delete your account at any time from the account page, which removes your data. We can close accounts that break these terms. If we ever discontinue the service, we will give you notice and a way to export your conversations.

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will tell you in the product or by email before the change applies. Continuing to use Heuricity after that means you accept the update.
